The Democrats are pulling another scam on the American taxpayer in that they are disguising progressive state bailouts as COVID-19 relief.

More than $50 billion is being given to New York as part of the Biden administration’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 rescue package.

We are now finding out, albeit at a piecemeal pace, that Governor Andrew Cuomo completely screwed up the handling of the pandemic virus, and a Cuomo administration aide said they faked the nursing home numbers because they said they feared the Trump administration.  So, they lied and blamed Trump for it.  Seems to be about par with how Democrats run things these days, but will Cuomo ever be held responsible for the deaths of all those innocent elderly patients who died because the governor forced COVID-19 positive patients into nursing homes.

New York’s government budget has been hammered by mismanagement and expensive progressive goodies programs they can’t pay for anymore because people are fleeing the state at a rapid pace.

So, now the Democrats are going to bail out states like New York that were fiscally irresponsible before COVID and they’re going to claim the bailouts are under the COVID rescue program.

On Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to the New York Democratic delegation alerting them of the bailout, er… COVID-19 relief money saying she believes the bill will pass by the end of February.  And she’s certain it will pass because the Democrats are using the budget reconciliation avenue to pass the legislation without involving the Republicans.

In the letter, Pelosi points out the $12.6 billion is included for New York state pandemic recovery funding and $10.6 billion for local governments.

The New York transit system gets $8.8 billion, why Americans from all states have to pay for New York’s transit system is beyond me, but they are also handing out $12.3 billion for New York’s schools.  Other than payouts to teachers’ unions, I haven’t been able to find out how that money is going to be spent.  If my taxes are paying for that state’s schools, then I have a right to know.

New York small businesses are getting $483 billion and airports get $418 billion.

Don’t forget the DC Democrats originally decided to pay $600 to American citizens who Democrat governors and mayors put out of work with small business shutdowns and three times that amount for illegal aliens.

The state says it needs the money to pay for the massive $63 billion budget deficit owed because of revenue losses caused by the pandemic.  Then how come they’re getting $1.9 trillion?

Pelosi praised New York’s two Democrats senators, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand for their “enthusiastic advocacy” in appropriating the bailout, er… funding.

Governor Cuomo, who has seen better days politically, especially after the firestorm that blew up after the New York Post exposed a story that the governor’s top aide admitted that they intentionally lowered the number of COVID deaths in nursing homes after they forced COIVD-19 positive patients in them, and she said it was because they feared the Trump administration would use that information to start a Justice Department investigation, was to meet with Biden in the Oval Office with a group of mayors and governors on Friday to talk about vaccinations and financial relief.  Can you believe this?  New York just got $1.9 trillion and there’s Governor “We Neeeeeed” Cuomo asking for more.

An anonymous insider said that the governor’s office was “well aware” that the $50 billion was coming.

Cuomo, who did a horrible job in handling the COVID pandemic, but received an Emmy Award for his “masterful” coronavirus briefings forever ruining the sanctity of that award, pleaded with Washington for more pandemic relief after releasing a state budget proposal that is relying on %15 billion in federal funding, again our money.
