Pennsylvania School District’s New Mandated Anti-Racism Program is Tantamount To Child Abuse

Grade school children returning to a Pennsylvania school this fall will be taught that sympathizing with police officers is racist.

What is wrong with these people?  You wonder why certain communities have problems with policing, and it’s radical leftists like this who are the cause.  You don’t teach children that it’s racist to sympathize with police.

Gladwyne Elementary School, a Lower Merion School District, one of the richest in the country, will now require 4th and 5th graders to read Not My Idea: A Book About Whiteness, which claims that white people who relate to police officers or do not  to watch the news are complicit in racism. The curriculum additionally assigns A Kid’s Book About Racism to kindergarten and first graders.

This is child abuse.  They’ll say it’s not race-specific, but let’s all be honest here.  This is to get the white children to feel bad about themselves, and their own parents for that matter, for being white.  Teaching this garbage to children is an outrage, and unfortunately, Pennsylvania has a radical leftist governor who goes all in for this kind of nonsense.  No, it’s worse than nonsense.  This is a dangerous ideology being forced onto our children.  It should be listed as a crime.

The books are causing anger among some parents, who have a problem with the political ideology on the program.  Elana Yaron Fishbein, a mother of 2 boys who holds a PhD in social work, sent a letter to the school district’s superintendent, the school’s principal, and the board members, demanding the school remove its new “cultural proficiency” curriculum.

“The book teaches kids not only to defy parents but to hate themselves,” Fishbein told the Washington Free Beacon. “To hate their parents also because they are white. By default, the kids are white, and they’re privileged, and they’re bad. The school is teaching this to little kids.”

In the wake of the George Floyd protests, public schools are more and more politicizing their curricula.  That’s because elected Democrats have allowed the Marxist cultural revolution to run roughshod over our country.  The schools are either afraid or complicit with criminal behavior and the radical changing of our society.

It’s not a crime or morally wrong to be a white person.  Yet, that’s what these lunatics who run our schools are going to teach your children.  Folks, if Pennsylvania schools are allowed to get away with child abuse, it will 100 percent come to your schools next.  Don’t doubt me.

In Virginia’s Loudoun County School District, the richest county in the country, teamed up with the left-wing education group Teaching Tolerance to develop a new curriculum about slavery for kindergartners.  The proposed lesson plans suggest restructuring history and social studies courses to emphasize slavery as fundamental to American society.

We can’t allow this to go on.  It’s dangerous to our children, our families, and the country as a whole.  And trust me, if Biden and Harris get elected in November, this will be just the beginning.  You won’t recognize your own country anymore, and it will happen in an incredibly short time.

Cultural proficiency classes at Gladwyne had been announced in an email to parents on June 9. The email claims that regardless of offering 4 other classes on equity and race, the school’s “Cultural Proficiency Committee” believes those classes are insufficient and created a fifth lesson focused explicitly on anti-racism.

How much do you want to bet that it only and exclusively teaches about white racism, because these crazy leftists don’t believe anyone but white people can be racist?

“Generally, each class also engages in a cultural proficiency lesson; however, we realize that this is not enough,” Veronica Ellers, the Gladwyne principal, wrote in an email obtained by the Free Beacon. “We plan to continue designing lessons that promote anti-racist actions in the upcoming 20-21 school year and beyond.”

This woman should be evaluated psychologically and removed from her position.  It’s child abuse.

A Kid’s Book About Racism has an sweeping list of actions it deems harmful and racist.  The book declares that asking questions can be racist and demands a call-to-action for 5-to-7-year-olds to call out and identify racism.

Can you imagine the problems this would cause in families?  First off, these leftists claim things are racist that are not racist.  For example, sympathizing with police is not racist, but now little children are going to be taught that it is, and they’re going to be taught to disobey their own parents and challenge them if they sympathize with police.

“Racism happens all the time,” the book reads. “Sometimes it shows up in small ways. Like a look, a comment, a question, a thought, a joke, a word, or a belief…. If you see someone being treated badly, made fun of, excluded from playing, or looked down on because of their skin color call it racism.”

Amy Buckman, a district spokeswoman, defended the move. “The Lower Merion School District fully supports the ongoing implementation of an anti-racist curriculum in its schools and encourages the use of developmentally appropriate books that raise awareness of the very real issues of racism and privilege,” she said.

But the way they are going about teaching anti-racism isn’t appropriate at all.  You don’t fight racism by telling white children that they and their parents are racist because they are white or because they ask questions.

Crazy people are running our schools.

Fishbein said that parents are reaching out to her via private messaging and telling her that they are not happy with what’s being done to their children, but they’re afraid to say anything publicly because they know they will be labeled a racist.  That’s exactly why they’re against asking questions.

“If you say anything that’s racist according to the school or parent’s definition of racism, you’re out,” Fishbein said. “You’re called a racist. No wonder the parents don’t talk.”

This program will create serious problems in our society.  It’s time to speak up.  If you have kids in school and your school district is pushing this kind of stuff you need to get over being afraid, and file a complaint before it becomes the norm.  Your children will be damaged psychologically, and serious problems will come to your family.  For decades we were told that children’s self esteem was the most important thing of all, more than learning.  So, then how come now they’re going to destroy white kids’ self esteem by teaching them that they are racist garbage and they’re not even allowed to ask why?
