School Superintendent Blocks Students From Book Club Event Of Author Who Survived ISIS Sex Slavery For Fear It Will Anger The Terrorists

I have always thought of Canada as a tiny little apartment on top of a really great party. Everyone who goes to Canada in the past has come out saying just how nice the Canadian people were to them. They were very nice to me before they kicked me out. Even then, they were nice. That’s all changed now. With the lockdowns and police going after citizens for not wearing a mask, like their British cousins Down Under, Canada has gone authoritarian.

The largest school board in The Great White North has blocked their students from going to a book club event with author Nadia Murad. In case you don’t know who she is, Murad is a Yazidi human rights advocate who won the Nobel Peace Prize for beating the incredible odds by surviving being kidnapped by the Islamic State (ISIS) as a teenager and then forced into a life in the sex slavery trade.

The author was scheduled to participate in a book club event with students from the Toronto District School Board in February 2022 once her book was released. Her book, “The Last Girl: My Story of Captivity, and My Fight Against the Islamic State,” gives the details of her story being sold into sex slavery when she was 14-years-old by Islamic terrorists.

She was a victim of sex trafficking and terrorists who are designated enemies of the United States. Wait, I better confirm that because you never know with woke governments these days.

But alas, the superintendent of the Toronto District School Board, Helen Fisher, trashed the event for students saying that students will not be allowed to attend the event claiming there are concerns that Murad’s book would offend students and “foster Islamophobia” as reported by The Telegraph.

In America, mothers who complained to school board members about the racist critical rate theory being taught in their children’s schools were targeted by Merrick Garland’s DOJ as domestic terrorists, but in Canada, the woke are going after a woman who is a true victim of terrorism for fear that Islamic students or otherwise would cause problems at the school. So the superintendent has let potential Islamic terrorists know that their terrorism worked. The school cowered in the face of truth coming out about them.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Woke progressives are evil people. It doesn’t matter what country they are in, they’re evil. And as in this case, they are cowards as well. The US went through nightly riots in Democrat-run cities throughout the summer of 2020 because the woke progressive Democrats who were supposed to protect the people cowered in fear of the BLM and ANTIFA rioters and allowed their cities to burn.

Tanya Lee, the woman who organizes the book club, responded to Fisher in an email with information about ISIS.

“This is what Islamic State means,” Lee wrote Fisher. “It is a terrorist organisation. It has nothing to do with ordinary Muslims. The TDSB should be aware of the difference.”

Fisher replied to Lee’s email with a big old woke response by sending a copy of the school board’s “policy on selecting equitable, culturally relevant and responsive reading materials.”

Whenever a woke progressive uses the term “equity” you know you’re dealing with an unfair Marxist lunatic.

Lee told The Telegraph:

“The book club event for ‘A Room Of Your Own Book Club’ with Nadia Murad will go ahead across Canada in February. The TDSB has not committed to letting their students attend. This is unfortunate for all involved. A great loss to the students, community, and educators at the TDSB.

The school board withdrawing their support means that they are not putting their students first— only their administration. Nadia Murad is a Nobel Peace Prize winning author and Human Rights Activist. We have so much to learn from her about the Triumph of The Human Spirit and the Will and The Ability to help others overcome tragedy. Nadia and her activism is an example to us all in all societies around the world.”

Fisher’s bass ackward decision created such an uproar that the Toronto District School Board released a separate statement that Fisher’s opinion of Murad’s new book did not represent the district.

From the statement:

“An opinion that did not reflect the position of the Toronto District School Board was shared with the organiser of the book club prior to staff having an opportunity to read the books — something that is routinely done before giving them to students.

Staff are currently reading both books and anticipate being able to add them to the list of titles used in the corresponding course(s),” the statement added.”

The woke among us refuses to allow people to learn what Islamic terrorists do. The American mainstream news media rarely ever shows clips of 911 for fear it will upset the people among us who agree with the results of that fateful day in our history.
