Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) went off on America’s top infectious disease government expert on COVID-19, charging Dr. Anthony Fauci of duping the American pubic on the effectiveness of waring face masks and for downplaying what it will take to get rid of the virus from human populations.
On Sunday morning Rubio took to social media to let his anger be known.
“Dr. Fauci lied about masks in March
Dr. Fauci has been distorting the level of vaccination needed for herd immunity
It isn’t just him
Many in elite bubbles believe the American public doesn’t know “what’s good for them” so they need to be tricked into “doing the right thing”
The Florida senator tweeted the comments after Fauci appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union,” where he told Fake News anchor Dana Bash that the worst of the coronavirus pandemic is still yet to come.
These virus dictators will never let the American people believe there’s ever going to be an end to the virus, because then they have to go back to not ordering the people around, forcing them to wear masks, socially distance, and stay locked down while the local stores are being shut down and the Democrats’ billionaire friends take in billions in profits like Amazon’s Jeff Bezos.
Fauci has been criticized for constantly changing his guidance and projections since the the Chinese virus pandemic first hit our shores. He was one of the original members of the Trump administration’s White House Task Force on coronavirus, which was created back in January, you know, the month that Democrats all lie about, claiming that Trump hadn’t done anything about COVID back then? In fact, the Democrats were too busy impeaching Trump over doing absolutely nothing wrong when Trump was already taking steps to combat the virus.
Back when this whole thing first started Fauci was a huge influence on President Trump’s response to the virus, on his public opinion, the mitigation policies on the state and local level across the country. Several Fake News outlets tried to put Fauci against the president and at times when it hurt Trump, they reduced Fauci’s perceived expertise to that of a politicized agenda. That’s primarily because we no longer have an honest press. They are all corrupt.
Earlier this month, Fauci was offered a job offer by Joe Biden to become his chief medical adviser and he accepted. God save us all.
The New York Times, the best use of which would be at the bottom of a dirty birdcage, recently reported that Fauci “has begun incrementally raising his herd-immunity estimate.”:
In the pandemic’s early days, Dr. Fauci tended to cite the same 60 to 70 percent estimate that most experts did. About a month ago, he began saying “70, 75 percent” in television interviews. And last week, in an interview with CNBC News, he said “75, 80, 85 percent” and “75 to 80-plus percent.”
In a telephone interview the next day, Dr. Fauci acknowledged that he had slowly but deliberately been moving the goal posts. He is doing so, he said, partly based on new science, and partly on his gut feeling that the country is finally ready to hear what he really thinks.
Hard as it may be to hear, he said, he believes that it may take close to 90 percent immunity to bring the virus to a halt – almost as much as is needed to stop a measles outbreak.
President Trump in October started referring to Fauci as a media darling, saying that he has been a disaster.
“Dr.Tony Fauci says we don’t allow him to do television, and yet I saw him last night on @60Minutes, and he seems to get more airtime than anybody since the late, great, Bob Hope. All I ask of Tony is that he make better decisions. He said “no masks & let China in”. Also, Bad arm!”
The president talked about how earlier this year Fauci’s advice was to oppose restricting travel to and from China, where COVID-19 started.
I remember in the very beginning when Fauci said that coronavirus was nothing to get upset about, and a bunch of other things that he later changed his positions on, and all the while the president was following Fauci’s advise. In fact, President Trump did everything his medical and science advisers told him, and yet Fauci’s friends, the Democrats, still claim Trump never listened to the science. Perhaps if the good doctor had set those idiots straight the minute they started hammering those lies, his relationship with White House may have been stronger.
