Senate Democrats Hoping Biden DOJ Will Prosecute Trump To Complete Their Mission of Turning Us Into a Banana Republic

It is being reported that Senate Democrats think there is a good chance that Democrat President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) will seek criminal charges against former President Donald Trump over the two-and-a-half-hour riot that took place at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

And if that happens, the Democrats will have completed their mission to turn the United States into a banana republic. They wrecked our energy policies, check. They brought in over 2 million illegal aliens from banana republics so that it will feel like home for them when they vote Democrat, check. Social spending under the Democrats has created inflation like we haven’t seen in decades, check. They are right now trying to rig all future elections for Democrats with legislation they claim is fighting for voting rights, check. Crime is out of control in the country because of Democrat prosecutors who refuse to prosecute criminals, making the streets dangerous, check. And now, they want to prosecute a former president by fabricating charges for things he did not do.

“Given the weight of public evidence, Democratic lawmakers think Trump committed federal crimes,” The Hill reported. “But Senate Democrats also warn that Garland needs to proceed cautiously. Any prosecution that fails to convict Trump risks becoming a disaster and could vindicate Trump, just as the inconclusive report by former special counsel Robert Mueller’s team was seized upon by Trump and his allies to declare his exoneration on a separate series of allegations.”

I think they are dumb enough to go forward. Accusations have been made that Trump incited the riot that happened on January 6. There is no evidence that Trump incited anything. In fact, the evidence we do have includes the former president saying, “And now we will march peacefully and patriotically to the Capitol to let our voices be heard.” If they think that incited a riot, then they need to go back to law school.

The piece mentioned several senators that spoke with them, including Senators Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) who lied to his constituents for years claiming he served in Vietnam, Tim Kaine (D-VA), and Sherrod Brown (D-OH).

Blumenthal claimed that “clearly what [Trump] did” building up to the riot “falls in the ambit of what’s being investigated and perhaps is criminal.”

There is nothing clear at all. Donald Trump did nothing illegal. He had the Constitutional right to question the election results. It doesn’t matter how badly the Democrats wanted him to shut up. Blumenthal is a known liar, and he’s probably lying now.

“They have all of the evidence at their disposal,” Kaine said. Later on, he added, “My sense is they’re looking [at] everything in a diligent way and they haven’t made a decision.”

Is that the same kind of “evidence” that Adam Schiff (D-CA) lied about having on Trump-Russia collusion for over two years? Remember how he came up empty when Special Counsel Robert Mueller ended his investigation and said there was no evidence that Trump colluded with Russia? How much you want to bet this is the same scenario?

Kaine, who ran as Hillary Clinton’s running make in 2016 (’nuff said) said that he thinks there were “federal statutes that are very much implicated” by what happened. He never named any of them, because they don’t exist. These guys are making it up.

Senator Brown said, “I think anybody who it’s proven had a role in the planning of [the Jan. 6 attack] should be prosecuted, not just the people who broke in and smashed the window in my office and others.” There was no planning of the riot on January 6, at least not by Trump supporters.

“I think anybody that’s shown to have had a role in its planning absolutely should be prosecuted,” Brown claimed. “I mean it was treason, it was trying to overturn an election through violent means.” This man is a dope and the people of Ohio should feel ashamed for electing him. Treason would have to include people trying to overthrow the government. So far, not a single person who was arrested for January 6 has been charged with trying to overthrow the government.

Does Brown include House Speaker Nancy Pelosi? She was in charge of security for the Capitol and no one has asked her why she failed so miserably that day. Not only did Trump not do anything that incited the riot, but he offered 10,000 National Guard troops to protect the Capitol. He offered Pelosi the troops multiple times during the week leading up to January 6 and she turned him down every time. Trump was not responsible for security at the Capitol, Pelosi was.

The January 6 protest was not about overthrowing the government. If you want to talk about trying to reverse an election and overthrow the government, look no further than the Democratic Party that attacked President Trump by lying to a FISA court to obtain a FISA warrant so that they could spy on his campaign. They spent the next four years wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on four investigations, including the special counsel, that turned up nothing. They impeached Trump twice, both times, on bogus charges that Helen Keller could see through.

Is Brown talking about when Democrats rioted at the Trump inauguration when over 200 people were arrested and none of them were charged with treason? Or what about over the 2020 Summer of Love riots when Democrat supporters nearly broke into the White House to kill the president and his family? Over 50 Secret Service agents were injured during that attempt. Was Brown concerned about that at all, or did he think Trump deserved it?

Democrats are as phony as Hollywood.

The report emphasized remarks recently made by Garland, who said, “The Justice Department remains committed to holding all January 6 perpetrators, at any level, accountable under law — whether they were present that day or were otherwise criminally responsible.”

So you don’t even need to have been there and they’re going to charge you with an insurrection. Yeah, we have now become a banana republic. Way to go, Democrats.
