The skies across Southern California were lit up spectacularly with fireworks as the people celebrated the Fourth of July, even though the politicians tried to take it away from them, in a citywide display of solidarity that said “screw you” to city and state orders to not celebrate America’s birthday this year.
Thanks to blue states, if history were a body, 2020 would be the armpit.
Though fireworks are illegal in the city of Los Angeles, and all firework shows have been banned in Los Angeles County this year, that didn’t stop Californians on Saturday night from showing their love for their country in their own ways. And God Bless ’em.
With most professional firework shows canceled this year, many took it upon themselves to put on their very own show, many of which included illegal fireworks.
Video captured from ABC7’s cameras all through the region, including one at LAX, showed how widespread they were being set off. And it’s a beautiful thing to see.
Many individuals said they loved the fireworks displays, despite the fact that it put the public in danger. This is another case of Democrat leaders making criminals out of normal people.
“It sounds like they’re teaming up to make sure everybody here, everybody over there, everybody in this vicinity is getting the right amount of fireworks, no matter where they are,” Sheikh Ahamed said.

Here’s another angle.
WATCH:
The LA Fire Department said it responded to over a hundred fires, including 12 brush fires and about 29 structure fires. It’s not clear if fireworks were responsible for all them however the department tweeted “Fireworks are not toys.” Really? Omigod! I always thought there were. But, I digress.
A brush fire broke out next to an apartment complex in Mission Hills. In the meantime, in Covina, a number of trees caught fire. Investigators have been trying to determine if fireworks were to blame in both incidences. If Governor Newsom or LA Mayor Eric Garcetti get involved, they’ll probably force the investigators to say it was.
East Los Angeles started trending on Twitter with a lot of people comparing the fireworks show to a Disneyland show.
Marc Cesar captured a great view of what the night looked like across town.
Santa Ana and Fontna were also trending.
The Los Angeles Police Department Communications Division requested people to not call 911 to report illegal fireworks until someone is harmed or there was a fire.
