“He ignores the fact that before the COVID crisis hit, American unemployment was lower. Lower-income people’s wages were rising at a faster pace than the rest of the workforce and things were going in the right direction,” Forbes told “The Faulkner Focus.”
Biden trumpeted a low unemployment rate even though the country added fewer jobs in December than expected. Of course he did, because that’s what his handlers wrote down.
Forbes said that Biden “hobbled the recovery from COVID as the lockdowns ended.”
Former President Donald Trump set things up so that all Biden had to do was sit in the White House watching reruns of Matlock while they fed him handfuls of grapes and he would have been lauded as a great American president. Trump did all the work. But the problem is, Joe Biden didn’t go to the White House to help improve Americans’ lives. He went there to punish, to control, and to break the will of the electorate to accept a Democrat ruling class. Since he took office, he has been running a Cloward and Piven strategy to destroy our economy so that the leftists’ Great Reset would usher in socialist policies that will keep them in the ruling elite class and the rest of us will work to make their lives sustainable.
“His war on oil and gas, for example, rising energy costs, which hits everyone,” Forbes said.
Biden said that his (handlers’) economic plan is working since the jobs report indicated the US economy added a record 6.4 million jobs in 2021.
“That’s the most jobs in any calendar year by any president in history,” Biden said on Friday at the White House.
“America is back to work,” he added.
The reality is US job growth wobbled right before the omicron variant hit. Businesses were worried about government locking people down again and forcing mitigations and vaccine mandates in the workplace. The eggheads in the Biden administration have not worked in the real world. The majority of them have no idea how to make a payroll. They don’t understand all the decisions that have to be made nearly daily to keep a business afloat.
Whereas President Trump looked at job growth as a means of helping American families live better lives. Biden looks at job growth as a way to toot his own horn and gain political capital. This is evident by just listening to how the two different presidents spoke about it.
On Friday, the Labor Department’s monthly payroll report said that in December, payrolls rose by 199,000, way below the 400,000 jobs that were anticipated by economists. The unemployment rate went to 3.9 percent to 4.2 percent, but I think they fudged the numbers. I can remember when economists and political pundits were saying in 2012 that no president has ever been reelected with an unemployment rate above 8 percent. It stayed above 8 percent until magically, just months prior to the election; it dropped down to just below 8 percent. It must be great to be a Democrat, because no one in the mainstream news media questioned it.
I think the Biden administration copied what the Obama administration did to lower the unemployment numbers. I think they removed the U6 people from the calculation. The U6 unemployment list has people who were marginally and temporarily employed, but it also has people who have not found a job in 2 years. Remove those from the count and you just lowered unemployment. Granted, it’s a devious deception, but they are Democrats after all.
Steve Forbes referred to Biden’s Build Back Better Act as a “Big Bad Bill” over the massive tax increases that are in there that will hurt jobs and job creation. Say goodbye to economic growth.
The Forbes Media Chairman pointed out that the kind of huge spending Biden wants to do will make inflation even worse than it is now, because it will require printing more money to add to the money supply which increases the national debt, deficits, and will screw over the middle class and working-class families.
