On Friday, during a speech at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Road to Majority Conference, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) blasted the racist “critical race theory,” referring to it as an “evil” concept derived from Marxism, and “every bit as racist as Klansmen in white sheets.” Cruz made his heated remarks about critical race theory.
Cruz related a story where last week a reporter tried to trip him up with a “gotcha” question asking him, “What is critical race theory?” The senator from Texas believes the DC reporter wanted to trip him up pointing out that the reporter probably thinks “conservatives are morons,” and they “don’t know what they’re talking about.”
“I explained to him and I said, ‘Well, it’s a theory that derives from Marxism. Karl Marx viewed the entire world as a conflict between classes, between the owners of capital and the working men and women, the proletariat,'” Cruz said. “A fundamental battle in society.”
“Critical race theory takes that same Marxist concept except it replaces ‘class’ with ‘race,'” he spelled out. “And it says all of America and all of the world is a battle between the races.”
“Critical race theory says every white person is a racist,” Cruz explained. “Critical race theory says America’s fundamentally racist and irredeemably racist. Critical race theory seeks to turn us against each other and if someone has a different color skin, seeks to make us hate that person.”
Another aspect of critical race theory is a belief that to combat past racism, those who were harmed by racism must commit racism today against white people. And the racism stems from slavery, America’s original sin. They completely dismiss the fact that there were always white people who were against slavery and against racism. Critical race theory suggests that all white people are born racist, which is the exact definition of racism, to believe in the inferiority or superiority of a group of people based on their race.
“And let me tell you right now, critical race theory is bigoted, it is a lie, and it is every bit as racist as the Klansmen in white sheets,” Cruz unequivocally declared, which was greeted by applause from the conservative audience.
“As a Christian and as an American, I love my brothers and sisters, whatever skin color you are, whatever ethnicity you are, whatever faith you are, whatever creed you are,” Cruz declared. “We are commanded to love, period, the end.”
“And those who would divide us, those who would spread lies, it is evil,” he concluded. “It is exactly that, it is evil.”

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) took to social media to make a counterargument to Cruz’s remarks on critical race theory.
“Critical race theory is an academic and legal framework that examines the impact of systemic racism on American society.
Refusing to examine our history denotes that nothing is wrong with our systems or history.
But you know..#HappyJuneteenth”

No one refuses to examine our history. We teach our children our history, including the bad parts. No one ever tried to hide it from public school classrooms.
Whoever wrote the NAACP tweet threw in a Happy Juneteenth, which I suppose they thought would be an insult to Republicans, because racist black groups are trying to make Juneteenth only about black people. Juneteenth is a celebration of when the Republican Party and the Union Army freed the remaining black slaves from the Democrat slave owners. It is a celebration of America overcoming its darkest period in its true fashion of continually trying to form a more perfect union, but the race hustlers want to keep the perception of that dark period going forever so that they can profit from it. And now they want to indoctrinate your children into believing their country is systemically racist.
Critical race theory has been all over the headlines in recent months and is now a major topic in the culture war between conservatives and the radical left. Republican lawmakers and governors across the country have taken steps to ban it from being taught in public schools. To teach children that their country, their parents, and even themselves are systemically racist is a form of child abuse that no true leader of people should ever accept.
Last week, Republican Governor Ron DeSantis made Florida the latest state to ban the racist critical race theory.
“Florida’s education system exists to create opportunity for our children,” DeSantis said. “Critical Race Theory teaches kids to hate our country and to hate each other. It is state-sanctioned racism and has no place in Florida schools.”

To put the truth of CRT into perspective, here’s a young black man who gets it, who understands where critical race theory will take us if we don’t stop it in its tracks now.
