Education being one of the main issues in the very close gubernatorial race in Virginia, former Governor Terry McAuliffe (D) keeps putting his foot in his mouth by saying things about Virginia schools that are costing him votes and now his past is coming back to haunt him.
No one ever had to run looking for a dictionary over anything McAuliffe said. Some statements he made back in 2019 have now resurfaced at a time when parents are fighting against the teaching of the racist critical race theory in their local school districts. Parents don’t want their children’s schools to be teaching them to be racist and no matter how much the school boards and politicians lie to them about how CRT is not teaching racism, the parents aren’t buying it.
YIKES: @TerryMcAuliffe says that promoting "diversity [and] inclusion" in elementary schools is "just as important your math class [and] your English class." He wants to institutionalize the principles of critical race theory—and drive a permanent wedge between parent and child. pic.twitter.com/T4OTNzxCEw

In 2019, McAuliffe was promoting his book “Beyond Charlottesville: Taking a Stand Against White Nationalism,” because that’s what Democrats do; they exploit a tragedy for political gain. He was on C-SPAN’s Book TV talking about the book when he talked about his views on how “inclusion” and “diversity” must be taught in elementary schools.
“We’ve got to go back – K to 6. Early on, we’ve got to start teaching, talking about these issues much earlier than we’ve done it before. And we don’t do a good job in our education system talking about diversity, inclusion, openness and so forth. We don’t. We got our textbooks, but, you know, that has to be a big part of how do you fit into the social work of our nation and our fabric. How we deal with one another is to me as important as, you know, your math class or your English class and so forth.”
Diversity and inclusion sound like innocuously flowery words, but when leftists use those terms, they don’t mean what you think they mean. Diversity for leftists means diversity in skin color, sexual orientation and such. Inclusion means they have to force transgenders into girl’s bathrooms and parents have to accept it. Diversity and inclusion for leftists never include diversity or inclusion in thought or ideology. All those leftist-approved “diversity” groups must think the same way; the way of the Woke Supremacy.
Leftists always try to indoctrinate children, thinking if you can get them at a young age they will grow up to be great slaves to big government.
Virginia being a blue state, McAuliffe should be up by 10 points or more. But they are next and neck at about 48% each. So, McAuliffe had to bring in the big guns.
Big guns like Barack Obama who over the weekend campaigned for McAuliffe in the Old Dominion state where he, of course, dismissed scandals that have been front and center in Loudoun County Public Schools where things like sexual assaults on girl students, transgender boys in dressed using girl’s bathrooms, and critical race theory as nothing ut “fake outrage” and “trumped up culture wars.”
A teenage girl was sexually assaulted in a girl’s bathroom at her school by a boy student who was wearing a dress and Obama calls that fake outrage? He thinks that is a trumped up culture war? That is sick.
Last month, McAuliffe stirred up some of that fake outrage when he said during a debate against his opponent Glenn Youngkin, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”
Youngkin took to social media to school the former governor in what Virginia law states.
Terry McAuliffe should learn Virginia law. #VAgov
§ 1-240.1. Rights of parents.

Youngkin also pointed out that as governor, McAuliffe vetoed a bill that would have allowed parents to have controversial books removed from school libraries.
“I’m not going to let parents come into schools and actually take books out and make their own decisions,” he said.
Youngkin countered, however, “I believe parents should be in charge of their kids’ education.”
And don’t forget that as governor, McAuliffe pardoned 60,000 felons just so that they could vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016. Experts say it was enough to swing the election in Clinton’s favor. First, McAuliffe tried to just give felons the right to vote as it was illegal under Virginia law. When I judge shot him down claiming as governor he did not have the power to create a law, McAuliffe then used the power of the pardon to help Hillary Clinton’s campaign. What Virginia voters need to realize is McAuliffe didn’t care one iota about the victims of those 60,000 felons. Virginia has a three strikes law. How many of those felons were on their second strike who then had both felonies removed? How many felons assaulted children? How many victims who were being paid restitution by the felons who harmed them lost it all once they were pardoned?

Terry McAuliffe should not be within 100 miles of the government’s mansion. He is a despicable man.
