The Lincoln Project, a Trump-hating Super PAC, has erased the “Our Team” page from its website after unverified allegations that one of its founders was involved in “grooming” younger men for sex, according to the Washington Free Beacon. Funny how that happens. And I guess they get a pass on the whole #MeToo thing, because they worked to get rid of Donald Trump.
We reported on this last week, and Thursday night, after reports came out that some people came out on Twitter to accuse John Weaver, a co-founder of the Trump-hating group, of the problematic behavior, the Lincoln Project strangely started scrubbing his existence from the website. Remember, Wikipedia erased bad things about Kamala Harris after she was selected by the man who stole the 2020 election to be his vice-presidential running mate, so it’s not that far fetched that an anti-Trump group would do the same thing for a sexual pervert in their organization.
After the website had been “fixed,” the Twitter profile, “Comfortably Smug,” posted screenshots of the “Our Team” page and a separate page for John Weaver as evidence they were both taken down. Not too subtle.
As of Friday afternoon, both pages were gone from the website.

In the tweet, Comfortably Smug purported that the delete-fest took place after Fox News host Laura Ingraham tweeted out a RedState story about the allegations against Weaver.

Weaver, an establishment Republican RINO operative who advised the late Senator John McCain from 1997-2007 and is married to a woman — grew to become the target of an onslaught of allegations on Twitter last week after author Ryan Girdusky accused him on the platform of “grooming” and “offering jobs” to younger men “in exchange for sex” all through his career.
According to Axios, John Weaver has admitted to inappropriate sexting with men and came out as gay in a statement released on Friday.
In a statement, Weaver said, “For too long I have tried to live a life that wasn’t completely true, where I cleaved off an important part of myself in order to maintain what I thought was happiness and normalcy in the other part. I was lying to myself, to my family who gave me nothing but unconditional love, and to others, causing a great deal of pain to all.”
RedState reported that “after Girdusky’s tweets … it was like the floodgates opened as young men stepped forward to talk about their (alleged) creepy experiences with Weaver.”That’s the right word for it, creepy.
Girdusky then expanded on some of the allegations he said he was aware of in an article published by the American Conservative, complete with screenshots of messages from young men to Girdusky describing inappropriate behavior they alleged from Weaver.
In the article Girdusky points out that after Weaver started following him on Twitter he received a direct message from someone he knows. The message was a warning about Weaver using his position to solicit people for sex.
One of the messages was a former college student remembering he received a phone call late at night from Weaver who had asked him about his weight and height. The student replied by telling Weaver he was “about average,” and the sicko co-founder of the Lincoln Project responded, “Oh my boy, I’m sure certain parts of you are well above average.” Is that not one of the creepiest things you ever heard?
Another victim alleged that Weaver texted him, “I love your voice” and “I appreciate you, my boy!” after the 21-year-old male had just done a media hit.
There are a lot of accusations that were made, but none of them so far have been confirmed. For all we know this could be a group of like-minded people who are attacking an innocent man because they just don’t like him. Hmmm. Where did we see that before? The difference here is Weaver never did a damn thing in his whole life to make millions of American’s lives better.
Waver has yet to deny the allegations publicly. Nothing has been said by the Lincoln Project either. I guess they’re circling the wagons around the founder.
The Lincoln Project has reportedly fundraiser $67 million to get rid of Trump, a man who truly made America great again. These ex-Republican political operatives not only ran ads against Trump but they supported Democrats, and they purportedly started working on a database of soon-to-be former Trump officials who they are going to punish them by holding them accountable.
Follow the money is such a cliche, but in this case, it’s true. According to the Beacon, the Lincoln Project “began as an anti-Trump organization but has gradually evolved into a pro-Democratic political operation after raising millions of dollars from wealthy liberals.”
