This article is not based off of what we believe, but only based on what a Chinese virologist told Tucker Carlson on his show.
Please note that fact-checking websites are stating:
- Scientists say the coronavirus emerged from bats and later jumped to humans.
- The genetic structure of the novel coronavirus rules out laboratory manipulation. Public health authorities have repeatedly said the coronavirus was not derived from a lab.
We are simply reporting on what was said in the interview.
Chinese virologist and alleged whistleblower told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday. that the Chinese government (allegedly) manufactured and launched the pandemic virus (CV-19) that led to mass shutdowns and deaths internationally.
Carlson specifically asked Dr. Li-Meng Yan if she truly believes the communist Chinese party released the virus “on purpose.” “Yes, of course, it’s intentionally,” she responded.
Yan stated more evidence would be forthcoming, but pointed to her own high-ranking position at a World Health Organization reference lab as a motive to trust her allegation.
“I worked in the WHO reference lab which is the top CV-19 lab in the world, in the University of Hong Kong. And the thing is I get deeply into such investigation in secret from the early beginning of this outbreak. I had my intelligence because I also get my own unit network in China, involved i] the hospital … also I work with the top CV-19 virologist in the world,” she said.
“So, together with my experience, I can tell you, this is created in the lab … and also, it is spread to the world to make such damage.”
Fox Information previously reported on Yan when she blew the whistle on China’s alleged attempts to suppress details about its handling of the virus. With an enormous network of contacts in Chinese medical facilities, Yan tried to collect more information about the virus as China blocked overseas experts from conducting research in the country.
Her revelations fueled ongoing complaints that the Chinese government failed to inform the world early on concerning the virus’ threat. She particularly believes the communist Chinese government ignored the research that could have saved people’s lives.
In response, her former employer, the University of Hong Kong, criticized her account. A press release stated “that the content of the said news report does not accord with the key facts as we understand them.” What else would they say when the Chinese communist government now controls Hong Kong?
“Specifically, Dr Yan never conducted any research on human-to-human transmission of the novel CV-19 at [the University of Hong Kong] during December 2019 and January 2020, her central assertion of the said interview.”
Yan, who mentioned she was one of the first scientists in the world to study the novel CV-19, fled China and at the moment fears retaliation from the communist party of China. She was allegedly asked by her supervisor at the College-WHO reference lab, Dr. Leo Poon, in 2019 looked into an odd cluster of SARS-like cases that were coming from mainland China by the end of December in 2019.
Fox New contributor Dr. Marc Siegel after the interview said that the medical community was wondering all along why is this virus making people so sick, and that we know that this virus does things that we’ve never seen before, and why all the inflammation and why does it affect all the organs in the body. In other words, this virus is not natural, it doesn’t come from nature. It’s man made. He added that this virus looks mild until it gets into the body, and then it does things that no virus has ever done before. The doctor went on to say that nothing that comes out of China should be believed.
