Pete Buttigieg edge edge edge, the Biden administration‘s Secretary of Transportation, appeared to be shocked that black people are not happy with Democrats during an appearance on The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God.
“You do realize, Pete, a lot of black people feel like Democrats have kept no promises since they’ve been in office,” Charlamagne Tha God said.
Black Americans couldn’t say that about former President Donald Trump, who went out of his way to keep his promises. In fact, that became a mantra for his administration: Promises made. Promises kept.
“Really?” a surprised Buttigieg replied.
“Yes,” Charlamagne Tha God said.
“Okay, look, I get it,” Buttigieg answered. “Because the work is not done. But the reason I say ‘really’ is we just passed one of the biggest pieces of infrastructure legislation in American history. It was a promise, and it wasn’t just a promise that the Biden-Harris administration made or that us Democrats made in 2020. This is a promise that every president and every Congress has made in some way, shape or form, for as long as I’ve been an adult, and we actually did it.”
What Buttigieg doesn’t get is that passing a huge infrastructure bill doesn’t really help black people as much as the elites think it will.
One of the problems we saw while Trump was in office and he went out of his way at the federal level to see black unemployment go down to the lowest recorded levels ever and black-owned businesses spring up everywhere, black Americans still had to deal with progressive Democrats at the local level. So while Trump’s policies were proving that when you get the government off the people’s backs, ordinary people can do extraordinary things, progressives at the street level were still making life miserable for their constituents.
“Those are big, broad things, and that’s great,” Charlamagne Tha God interjected. “But I’m talking about things like things you campaigned on like the George Floyd Policing Act and the fact that our voting rights, man, like 19 states have implemented voter suppression bills. You know, that’s going to directly impact us the most and the only strategy Democrats are gonna have is we have got to go out there and vote in mass numbers to fight it. That’s not a strategy. Hope is not a strategy.”
I would argue those two things are politically motivating programs that are built on fear-mongering by people like Charlamagne Tha God who allowed Joe Biden to say if you don’t know whether you should vote for Donald Trump of him “you ain’t black.”
Red states implemented election integrity laws, not voter suppression laws. Democrats steal elections. They’ve been doing it so long they have it down to a science. It doesn’t matter how many leftists in media try to cover it up, people know it’s happening. And after the Democrat mail-in ballot scam of 2020, states have the right to create laws that will prevent the theft of their elections in the future. The election integrity laws passed make it easier for everyone to vote while making it harder to cheat.
The George Floyd Policing Act is flawed based on the premise alone that most cops are bad actors. The overwhelming majority of American police officers are good men and women in blue who do a very tough job and a lot of thug types out there don’t make it any easier. A federal policing program over local cops would be akin to a Nazi SS group as a centralized police for taking over the country. No thanks.
Buttigieg then said that “mobilization is a strategy” and that Charlamagne Tha God is “right” in that the work to combat voting laws is “not done” but “has to get done.”
I disagree. The Democrats have been griping that red state voting laws are racist and suppress voters, but they have never yet come up with an example of how. It’s nothing but a talking point that people like Buttigieg and Charlamagne Tha Dud always use to argue for motives to rig elections for Democrats.
Angela Yee, one of the co-hosts of the show, chimed in to make the point that female reproductive rights and LGBTQ+ rights are being stripped away, even in the education system, referring to Florida’s new “Parental Rights in Education” law which bars teachers from discussing sex and gender identity to students as low as 5-years-old through 3rd grade.
Another moron with a microphone. For some reason, the Democrats have decided that attacking parents who want to protect their children from being sexualized in the classroom is the hill they are going to die on. And they are going to lose that fight. Take a look at what happened in Virginia where first-time politician Republican Glenn Youngkin defeated what should have been a shoo-in Democrat, Terry McAuliffe, and it was because Youngkin sided with parents wanting to protect their children in schools from sexual predators and McAuliffe sided with the schools that are sexualizing children in the classroom. Now, we have teachers who are asking kids as young as 5-years-old if they feel they are the right gender. Americans will not put up with this nonsense, because there is nothing more important than a parent’s child.
“But look, I don’t think anyone on our side is satisfied with how far we’ve come on whether it’s the George Floyd Policing Act, whether it’s voting rights, what I’ll say is we’re pushing for as much as we can get in terms of results in Congress and taking whatever executive actions are available to use.”
Buttigieg pointed out that most things happen at the state and local level. Remember, no matter how great America became under Trump, inner cities were still being harmed by progressive Democrat policies. The Democrats think differently about this point. They think tinkering in people’s lives at the local level is a good thing, so long as they get to be in charge of their own little fiefdoms and get rich at the same time through corruption.
The Biden administration’s support from black people tanked about 9 months into the term.
A poll conducted by Marquette University Law School revealed that Joe Biden’s approval rating among black people is at 56 percent, which is an almost 30 percent drop since July 2021 when his approval rating was 88 percent among black voters. I base that on the racist lies Democrats have told about Republicans for decades. It’s hard to get out of that kind of addiction even though you know it in your heart that Republicans may not be the solution to all of your problems, but Democrats are the cause of all of your problems. Democrats play the race card and they’ve been doing it for so long that it is considered an apostasy to branch out and discover the truth of what’s really going on.
House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn said Democrats chances in the coming midterm elections is “bleak, bleak, bleak” if supposed voting rights legislation is not passed, according to Bloomberg.
“There are a lot of base voters not happy,” he reportedly added. “So, if you look at the people who are unhappy, the Republicans are never going to be happy, independents who, you know, pick and choose when to be happy, and black people who need Build Back Better and these voting bills in order to be happy. That’s going to have a very low approval rating.”
These guys are so out of touch with the American voter. They’re arguing that they will lose the midterms because of racist Republican voter suppression laws when the reality is they are going to lose the midterm elections because of what they have done to the country in only a few years’ time. They destroyed the economy, people’s lives and dreams. They made the country a sea of paranoia and all to gain power for the Democratic Party. That must be reckoned with in November.
