It was recently revealed that Van Jones, a CNN political commentator, who praised President Donald Trump for a recent executive order on police reform, had attended secret White House meetings to come up with the new measure, according to a report.
Jones, 51, who hosts “The Van Jones Show” on CNN, supported Trump on the network for his EO to create a system for tracking police misconduct, ban most chokeholds and push for officer training after what’s been going on across the country after the death of George Floyd’s at the hands of Minneapolis police.
He complimented the president as the executive order was slammed as cynical and unproductive by the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and described as “delusional” by the Color of Change, a racial justice group that Jones himself co-founded 15 years ago. The Daily Beast delivered the message that leftists will never be satisfied.
Here, President Trump did the right thing, and the Left will still never give him credit. They don’t credit him for actively working to get the lowest black unemployment rates ever recorded, they don’t give him credit for prison reform (which incidentally, Van Jones also praised Trump for doing) because they don’t really care about those things so long as Trump is the one who got them accomplished. In short, they’re nuts.
Unknown to the viewers, Jones had joined his buddy Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and adviser, at the White House to talk about detail to go into the order on police reform, according. It’s no secret that Kushner and wife Ivanka are not MAGA people. They are liberal democrats, and they are happy being so. Kushner reached out to Jones and Jones took advantage of the situation, basically thinking, it’s better to get something than nothing, and moving forward is progress.
Helping Jones, law enforcement officials and White House staffers fashion the measure was Jessica Jackson, a California human rights attorney who runs #cut50, a prison reform group that Jones also founded.
“The executive order is a good thing, mainly because you saw the support of law enforcement there … There is movement in the direction of a database for bad cops,” Jones said on CNN’s “Inside Politics.” But they don’t give a rat’s rump, because, for most leftists, it’s all political, and the fact that Trump is the one who did this is blasphemy to them.
“We have never had a federal database for bad cops, that’s why all these cops go all over the place doing bad stuff … The chokeholds, that’s common ground now between Nancy Pelosi and Trump. Good stuff there,” he added.
He later informed host CNN Anderson Cooper that the executive order was “pushing in the right direction.”
“What you got today is, I think, a sign that we are winning,” he added again without disclosing his behind-the-scenes role. “Donald Trump has put himself on record saying we need to reform the police department … We are winning! Donald Trump had no plan a month ago to work on this issue at all. The fact that we are now in the direction of moving forward, I think, is good.”
I would just like to point out that a racist president would never, ever do this initiative, not matter what the politics are involved. It just wouldn’t happen.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, between drinks, called the Rose Garden ceremony at which Trump signed the measure “a photo op” and the executive order “seriously short of what is required.”
I think Pelosi’s brain is seriously short of what is required to be Speaker.
Al Not-So Sharpton, a longtime associate of Jones, assailed the order as “toothless and meaningless.” He would rather be able to bitch about having nothing than admitting it was not Barack Obama who got it done, but Donald Trump.
The Democrats have a new plan. Trash everything Trump does until November.
“I did not think the executive order was worth the paper it was written on,” Sharpton told liberal propaganda rag The Daily Beast.
He should have ended at “I did not think.”
“Van’s experiment with Trump is a case of him having more faith than I have, but I’m not going to attack him for doing it … I think he’s well-intentioned, but I think he totally underestimates the kind of guy he’s dealing with,” the activist told the outlet.
It’s funny that Sharpton loved Trump, and we have pictures and quotes over the years to prove it, up until he announced he was running for president as a Republican.
“I just disagree that the people he’s dealing with have a sincere bone in their body. But I can’t fault him for trying,” Sharpton added.
The good thing here is that no one really takes Sharpton seriously anymore. He’s a cliche for old-time race hustlers.
Actor Jeffrey Wright said in a tweet: “Smells like Van Jones helped Kushner craft this exec order, so he touts it. ‘You can’t polish this turd,’ he said of Trump’s delinquency, yet here he is with bootblack & rag.”
Smells like Van Jones helped Kushner craft this exec order, so he touts it. 'You can't polish this turd,' he said of Trump's delinquency, yet here he is with boot black & rag. As much as Fauci explains the science, Trump refuses to wear a mask. Progress comes when he is removed. https://t.co/RfzSHv0x0o

Stephen A. Crockett Jr., a columnist for The Root and a Jones detractor, wrote that “Jones’ job appears to be making Republican policy palatable to black people. So expect him to call this new proposal progress.”
In a note of sarcasm in quoting Malcolm X, Crockett added: “‘Hey look, the knife went from being 9 inches in your back to being only 6 inches in your back,’ (Van Jones’ voice).”
It’s now plain as day that the Left doesn’t really want to come together to get things they believe are important done. Isn’t that what we should be doing? So, they gripe if conservatives aren’t interested in their policies, but when they’re working on a policy they want to be done, they trash it instead. They’re a bunch of frauds.
Keem, creator of #DramaAlert, a source for News on the Social interactions in Online Entertainment had the same sentiments:
Dear Left , why are you upset Van Jones helped Jared Kushner craft Trump’s police reform?
This is exactly what we need to be doing , working together!
It infuriates me that people don’t want solutions they seem to only want problems! pic.twitter.com/I7GhkcqajP

Nothing the president accomplishes will be touted by these goons of the Left. They are going after a black communist CNN commentator because he helped Trump. If Barack Obama had done the EO the Left would be praising it, and praising Jones for helping, but because the entire Left in this country is now simultaneously suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, Left 7, they will trash anything that has to do with Trump, even if it’s something good for black people. This is all by design by the Democratic Party. Trash Trump on everything until Election Day.
