Well, here’s something you don’t see every day. On Monday, a reporter for a local Fox News affiliate drove off-script for a minute while in the middle of a live television segment to assert that Fox Corp. has been “muzzling” her and other reporters that she knows of, and said that she intends to release recordings to Project Veritas the reporting outfit that specialized in undercover and whistleblower reporting.
Ivory Hecker, the FOX 26 reporter said:
Before we get to that story, I want to let you the viewers know that Fox Corp. has been muzzling me to keep certain information from you the viewers. And from what I’m gathering, I am not the only reporter being subjected to this. I am going to be releasing some recordings about what goes on behind the scenes at Fox because it applies to you the viewers. I found a nonprofit journalism group called Project Veritas that’s gonna help put that out tomorrow, so tune into them. But as for this heat wave across Texas, you can see what it’s doing to AC units.
We wish Ivory well with her next career, whatever it may be. Fox fired her on Tuesday for interrupting a Live On-the-Air report to tell viewers that her bosses were muzzling her. Maybe Project Veritas can give her a job as an undercover reporter.
James O’Keefe’s outlet confirmed they will be releasing more information on Tuesday.
Newsweek reported that Hecker told the outlet that the issue she has with Fox Corp. began almost a year ago and “had taken a dark turn last August” when she did an interview and she revealed that after the interview she was told by the higher-ups to stop opposing censorship while on the air.
“They decided they didn’t like what the interview subject had said, and they went on to internally harass and defame me,” Hecker said to Newsweek. “I knew I was not working for a journalistic organization when I was called into an HR meeting in December and was told to keep my support for free speech and opposition to censorship to myself—that those were not matters to be publicly spoken about.”
But, you would surely think they were matters to be reported about by a news network, right? I guess not at Fox. I knew Fox had made a left turn, but who knew they became Woke? For what is supposed to be a legitimate news agency, and there are very few of them left, to tell one of their reporters to not talk about censorship is the antithesis of why they have a First Amendment protection of Freedom of the Press.
“True journalism can’t exist in an environment of censorship,” Hecker added. “True journalism needs an environment of free speech.”
Remember the old days when the CBS show “60 Minutes” used to do real journalism, and they were famous for doing undercover investigations? They would be interviewing some crooked CEO and halfway through the interview, the reporter would accuse him of lying and bring out the undercover videotape they made a week before and go all scorched earth on him. Well, that’s what Project Veritas does today, and they are hated by leftists who get caught in their traps.
With some of the bombshell undercover videos that Project Veritas has released to the public over the last few years alone, if we had an honest mainstream news media people and organizations that they exposed would have not only lost their jobs but many would have gone to prison.

Some of my favorite stings from Project Veritas are when they recorded Planned Parenthood abortion industry executives admitting that they sell baby body parts, the time in 2016 when they exposed a New York Democrat election commissioner not only admitting that they have cheated in every election “for the last f***ing 50 years,” but he gave them details on how they do it, and last but not least when they caught CNN executives admitting they are biased as the day is long and were ordered to do whatever they could to destroy President Donald Trump.
