During the Obama/Biden administration traded five very dangerous prisoners in exchange for a deserter and a traitor to his country. Their excuse is we never leave behind.
One of the five terrorists released by Obama/Biden was Khairullah Khairkhwa. Khairullah Khairkhwa, was the mastermind in the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban. And now we find out that Biden has no plan to rescue any American who cannot make it to the airport in Kabul. They could number in the thousands.
The Democrats paid a heavy price to save a deserter that they wouldn’t even prosecute. Innocent American citizens can be sacrificed by this administration.
Biden pulled all of our troops out without any plans on how to evacuate Americans and Afghanis who worked for us. And even those that can be saved, do not have priority in Biden’s plans. The last 2000 flown out of the country contained only 325 Americans.
Biden and his minions say there is no way to save Americans who are outside the airport. The British don’t seem to have that problem as they have sent paratroopers into the center of Kabul to retrieve British citizens.
Those of you that voted for Biden owes this country a sincere apology.
Biden blames this mess on President Trump, who set up an agency to work to extract Americans in a case like this. But Biden canceled the program in June.
Biden and his bench people claim that nobody could have anticipated such a quick takeover of Afghanistan, But that is a lie because the CIA reported that as a worst-case scenario.
The Biden administration just chose to ignore it. Will the Taliban take hostages? I can’t say for sure, but by virtue of the fact they are keeping them from reaching the airport, you must admit it is possible, if not likely.
The precise number of Americans outside Kabul was not immediately clear but up to 15,000 may still be in Afghanistan, the Post reported. The Taliban has been on the offensive across the country for weeks. At a news briefing later Tuesday, Jake Sullivan, President Biden’s national security adviser, told reporters that the Taliban expressed a willingness to provide “safe passage of civilians to the airport,” the report said.
The State Department on Tuesday told American citizens and others looking to get out of Afghanistan that they should “shelter in place” until they are given further instruction by the U.S. Embassy amid a fragile security situation in the Afghan capital.
“Our message remains for American citizens and for others who have expressed interest in relocation out of Afghanistan: shelter in place until and unless you receive a communication from the U.S. embassy,” spokesman Ned Price told reporters.
