Wow. I never thought I would see the day that I would agree with AOC. Quite truthfully, the idea scares me to death. But then again, this was an easy one to agree with although I assure you what she sees as the cure I see as a killer. She says it is time to do away with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and that many of Biden’s picks are simply horrible.

Who could argue with that. Biden seems to be picking up Obama’s retreads. They were horrible during the Obama administration and they would be no less worthless today. We are talking Susan Rice and Stephanie Power horrible. He is also picking such losers as Pete Buttigieg for transportation secretary. This is a guy who could not control the potholes in South Bend, Indiana.
When AOC says the Democrats need new leadership she does not mean younger, she means new as in Stalin, Lenin and Fidel Castro. But tilted much farther to the left. She has gone from waiting on tables and serving drinks to picking the country’s leaders in less than two years. But the good news is that she won’t be old enough for Kamala to pick her as her vice president.
There’s just one problem, she says: Democrats have no idea how to move forward.
“If you create that vacuum, there are so many nefarious forces at play to fill that vacuum with something even worse,” she warned.
“A lot of this is not just about these two personalities [Pelosi and Schumer], but also about the structural shifts that these two personalities have led in their time in leadership,” she explained. “The structural shifts of power in the House, both in process and rule, to concentrate power in party leadership of both parties, frankly, but in Democratic Party leadership to such a degree that an individual member has far less power than they did 30, 40, 50 years ago.”
She also said that Pelosi and other House members need to prepare for what comes after Pelosi retires.
“The left isn’t really making a plan for that,” she said. “So I do think that it’s something that we really need to think about.”
