Some Democrats refuse to buy into the Biden administration into what is happening in Afghanistan. Rep Seth Moulton is one of those who have chosen country over party.
Moulton and Rep Peter Meijer (R-Mich.) traveled to Afghanistan on their own in order to find out what things are really like and not what this administration wants us to think it’s like.
Moulton and Meijer have both been criticized for making the unauthorized trip.
But, both congressmen came back with the exact same conclusion, and that is this evacuation was doomed from the start as a result of poor planning and Biden’s idiotic trust in the Taliban.
Neither men, who are both veterans, have a very high opinion of the way Biden has handled the situation in Afghanistan with Moulton calling it “A total F*****g disaster.”
The White House has made it clear that no one involved in the Afghanistan fiasco will be fired.
“The thing that everybody needs to understand, even if you completely agree with the Biden administration’s decision to withdraw, the way they have handled this has been a total f***ing disaster.”
“It will be measured in bodies, because a lot of people are dying because they can’t get out.”
While on the ground in Kabul for about 15 hours on Tuesday, Moulton said he witnessed scenes that were “truly out of this world,”. He said it was a human tragedy and no person should ever live through something like that. But, as verbally abusive of this administration Moulton has been I can almost bet the rent that he won’t vote to hold anyone accountable. Even if thousands of Americans are trapped in Afghanistan.

“I’ve never seen more people cry, just salty Marines, seasoned State Department veterans just break down in tears, talking about their work, and hugging me, and saying thank you for coming,” he explained.
Moulton’s brief trip also gave him valuable insight about conditions in Qatar, where Afghan refugees are being taken upon leaving Afghanistan.
“Refugees are going to start dying today if we don’t get them help in places like Qatar. Thousands will get slaughtered by the Taliban if we don’t somehow devise a plan to get them out before we leave,” Moulton said. “These are all things that the administration has failed to do, and I know that because the people on the ground are telling me.”
