If you really want to crack down on illicit money in Democratic candidates, you need to look no further than ActBlue. Their fundraising has always been shady at best and perhaps criminal at worst. They have been very successful in raising money for the Democratic Party. While raising money for any political party is both legal and necessary, the way that you do it counts. Let’s take a look at their past and their present.
There was an ad campaign featuring Black Lives Matter but if you sent in a donation, it went directly to ActBlue.
Ha. Confused and misleading leftist "fact-check" being used to censor @RealCandaceO confirms Black Lives Matter Global Network is NOT yet a recognized IRS charity but raises money under the "fiscal sponsorship" of another group, Thousand Currents. https://t.co/RdoN6k78P5 https://t.co/Vn4x62MpUU

An unusual combination of New York political and law enforcement leaders have condemned former President Bill Clinton’s pardon of Susan L. Rosenberg, a one-time member of the Weather Underground terrorist group who was charged in the notorious 1981 Brink’s robbery in Rockland County that left a guard and two police officers dead.
Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, a Republican, and United States Senator Charles E. Schumer, a Democrat, were among those who criticized the pardon, as did Bernard B. Kerik, New York City’s police commissioner, and David Trois, a Rockland County police union official.
Somehow Rosenberg is heavily involved in this fundraising scheme. With her background, you should be suspicious and wary when you donate.
ActBlue has been highly successful in getting unemployed people. They allegedly received donations from 4.7 million people and they allegedly donated $346 million dollars.
A preliminary computer analysis by the Take Back Action Fund, obtained exclusively by Fox News, has found that nearly half of all 2019 donations to ActBlue were made by people claiming to be unemployed.
Action Fund President John Pudner questioned the veracity of those donations and called it a loophole that must be closed for the sake of election integrity.
“After downloading hundreds of millions of [dollars in] donations to the Take Back Action Fund servers, we were shocked to see that almost half of the donations to ActBlue in 2019 claimed to be unemployed individuals,” he said. “The name of employers must be disclosed when making political donations, but more than 4.7 million donations came from people who claimed they did not have an employer. Those 4.7 million donations totaled $346 million ActBlue raised and sent to liberal causes.”
The trend is continuing this year: An Action Fund examination of 2020 data from January through August showed an uptick in “unemployed” donations through ActBlue, to 50.1% this year.
Some people have put through a theory that China was funneling funds through ActBlue and they helped finance the Biden campaign. I don’t know if that is true, but I guess t is possible.
The Daily Caller reported over the weekend:
ActBlue, the fundraising platform that commands a virtual monopoly over Democratic online fundraising, accumulated a cash hoard of at least $172.8 million by the end of 2020 while simultaneously claiming it needs “tips” from donors to keep its lights on.
ActBlue states on its website it asks for “tips” because it does not profit from processing contributions made through its platform, but ActBlue’s credit card processing arm has reported paying taxes on its business profits every year since 2013, IRS records show. From 2013 through 2020, ActBlue’s PAC collected $147.7 million in “tips” from small-dollar Democratic donors, FEC records show.
“If ActBlue’s claims of tips being essential to their operation are in fact false, and donors are making contributions based on those claims, this raises serious legal concerns,” Former National Republican Congressional Committee General Counsel Chris Winkelman told the DCNF.
I do not know if ActBlue has done anything that would warrant sanctions or imprisonment, but I do think that they should be looked into by an honest investigator. They have no software to catch foreign donations and we need to find out if that was an oversight or whether that was by design.
