Elon Musk is taking the takeover of Twitter seriously. He has announced that he plans to clean house, starting with the woke workers who could plot various ways to sabotage the company and who are opposed to the changes that Elon Musk plans to make. He plans on making Twitter, a free speech zone and that will not sit right with the censorship Nazis.
Once that is done the plan is ongoing on a hiring spree and there will be more Twitter than there are more. There is much speculation on the new addition known only as X. Knowing Musk, you can rest assured that it is something no one has done before and that it is effective. Just look at Space X and Starlink. Both have provided kudos for both programs from the government and NASA.
According to the Daily Mail, Musk shared the following on his plans:
Elon Musk is planning to fire 1,000 staffers at Twitter as soon as his purchase of the social media platform is complete.
It’s believed he will fire many of the firm’s woke staff following the transfer of ownership which will take around six months, after which Musk is likely to wield the ax.
But then within the next three years, Musk anticipates making thousands of new hires, swelling the ranks to around 11,000 employees, up from 7,500 currently.
Much of the new talent is likely to be in the field of engineering.
Numbers at the company would fluctuate rising to 9,225 employees this year before falling to 8,332 in 2023. Then adding a further 2,700 workers by 2025.
Most of the jobs being shelved would occur during the takeover period, according to a pitch deck Musk presented this week to investors and seen by the New York Times.
During a presentation to woo investors, Elon Musk laid out his plans for what actions he intends on implementing when he takes over Twitter. Musk reportedly told investors that he would clean house at Twitter, but then go on a hiring spree. The Tesla CEO also assured investors that he would quintuple revenue on the social media platform within a few years and launch a new mystery product named “X,” according to a new report.
Musk reportedly told financial backers that he would quintuple Twitter’s annual revenue from $5 billion in 2021 to a whopping $26.4 billion by 2028.
The New York Times reported, “Twitter would bring in $15 million from a payments business in 2023, according to the document, which would grow to about $1.3 billion by 2028.”
