Cuomo’s top aide, Melissa DeRosa, who was rumored to have an intimate relationship with Andrew Cuomo is being accused of recruiting a state employee to spy on one of Cuomo’s accusers.
That picture was taken just less than two weeks after DeRosa’s marriage to Mathew Wing, the former Cuomo spokesperson who now works for Uber in the same capacity. Her mother is the head of the Southern District of New York. Her husband now works for Uber as a spokesman. Cuomo’s top donor is the elderly home community where Ms. DeRosa’s father and brother are lobbyists. In return, Cuomo directed millions their way and also protected them from liability.
The Daily Mail reports:
Disgraced former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo‘s top aide Melissa DeRosa used an MTA official to secretly record his sexual harassment accuser, a report published by the state Attorney General has revealed.
DeRosa allegedly recruited MTA Communications Director Abbey Collins to spy during a secretly-recorded phone call with an ex-staffer by the name of ‘Kaitlin’ – who was one of Cuomo’s sexual assault accusers – in an attempt to discredit her claims against the governor.
The scheme was revealed by transcripts from Attorney General Letitia James’ office and was confirmed by anonymous sources to the New York Post.
During the call between DeRosa and Collins – who shared the same office with Kaitlin during her stint as Cuomo’s press secretary from 2015 to 2018 – DeRosa asked Collins to reach out to Kaitlin and secretly record their conversation to find out if she was allied with Lindsey Boylan and Sen Alessandra Biaggi, according to James’ office, which released more findings from the investigation on November 29.
The more learn about the Cuomo administration, the more dishonest and corrupt they seem. Andrew Cuomo’s younger brother, Chris was fired from CNN last week amid a scandal that he used his position and CNN assets to help cover for his brother’s sexual harassment accusations. But, it is also rumored that a big part of the reason he was fired was because of sexual harassment issues of his own.
