Democrats have added$125 million to their war chest thanks to bagman George Soros. He has always been generous with his money, especially to progressive DAs who refuse to prosecute criminals. But, the Democrats have been known large sums of cash for people who can’t win.
Jaime Harrison raised over $100 million in a race for the Senate against Lindsey Graham. Amy McGrath runs for Senate in Kentucky and raises over $90 million only to get crushed by Mitch McConnell. Hillary spent over twice what Trump and l by a mile. It’s not the quantity of the money that counts, it’s the quality of the candidate that counts.
Politico reported, “The new, nine-figure investment from Soros is aimed at supporting pro-democracy ’causes and candidates, regardless of political party’ who are invested in ‘strengthening the infrastructure of American democracy: voting rights and civic participation, civil rights and liberties, and the rule of law.'”
Alexander Soros said:
“Events of the last two years, particularly the January 6th insurrection and ongoing efforts to discredit and undermine our electoral process, reveal the magnitude of the threat to our democracy. It is a generational threat that cannot be addressed in just one or two election cycles. Democracy PAC is now positioned to pursue its mission of preserving and protecting our democracy well into the future.”
Soros has been a huge contributor to Democrats every year. He is worth an estimated $8.6 billion dollars. Two of the DAs he has funded are in trouble. Marilyn Moseby of Baltimore has been indicted on fraud charges. George Gascón of LA is now undergoing a recall and they have started collecting signatures in order to trigger a vote.
In July, Soros gave $1 million to a political action committee that supports the defund the police movement.
The 91-year-old megadonor provided $1 million to the “Stop the Republican Recall of Governor Newsom” organization.
The Capital Research Center reported last week that 24 district attorneys had been elected since 2015 with financial aid from political action committees funded by Soros.
“CRC researchers have tracked more than $29 million in funding from Soros through a personal network of political action committees (PACs) formed specifically to back left-wing DA candidates,” the report claimed.
