During the 2020 election, Hillary Clinton called P)resident a racist and a conspiracy theorist over calling the disease, The Wuhan Virus.
What is interesting about that was in 2009 s State Department employee wrote:
The U.S. believes participants would benefit from hearing about your experiences assisting China in setting up a Biosafety Level-4 (BSL-4) laboratory at the Wuhan Institute of Virology from the export control and intangible technology transfer perspectives. We are particularly interested to know how China plans to vet incoming foreign researchers from countries of biological weapons proliferation concern.
And just who was that employee? None other than Hillary Clinton. She knew full well what was about to happen in that lab but did nothing because quite frankly, people wanted to play without paying. After all, she is not a non-profit. No mon, no fun. Now, be honest. How many of you think President Trump’s greatest achievement was keeping Hillary out of the Oval Office? I can see it now. The guest chairs in the Oval Office would have a parking meter.
In 2003, the WIV was approved by the Chinese Academy of Sciences to build a BSL-4 lab.
With significant help from France, the lab was finished in 2014. Just 5 years before the spread of COVID-19.
Earlier in the cable, Clinton voiced concerns about China’s involvement in the field of biological weapons proliferation, in general.
She asked Australia to send her all the information they had on the lab and share its “perceptions of the CBW proliferation activities by Chinese entities.
Though not quite accusations, Clinton’s assertions certainly implied she had concerns about China’s biological weapons programs, specifically in reference to the WIV.
Yet, in March 2020, when Trump referred to COVID-19 as the “Chinese virus” due to its origination point, Clinton turned the tables.
“The president is turning to racist rhetoric to distract from his failures to take the coronavirus seriously early on, make tests widely available, and adequately prepare the country for a period of crisis,” she tweeted. “Don’t fall for it. Don’t let your friends and family fall for it.”
