Loudoun County Commonwealth’s Attorney Buta Biberaj, who tried to get the father of a raped girl at a Loudoun School sent to jail has close ties to George Soros and Terry McAuliffe.
She is known for leniency where criminals are concerned and is currently being threatened with a recall after she dropped charges against hundreds of domestic abusers after one of them returned and killed his wife. She is another Soros-sponsored DA, having received $860,000 dollars for her campaign.
Biberaj, who tried to get Scott Smith jail time for complaining to the school board about the rape of his daughter, fitted the rapist with an ankle monitor and sent him to another school, where he sexually assaulted another girl allegedly. Do you see a pattern here? T
Fortunately, the judge did not play along with her and although the judge did give him ten days, the sentence was suspended as long as he stays out of trouble for one year. The real criminals are treated with kid gloves and political defendants get the book tossed at them. Hopefully, the voters will throw Biberaj out on her heinie.
Biberaj and Mcauliffe have formed a mutual admiration society. No wonder. Neither one is fit for public office. McAuliffe endorsed Biberaj in 2009 when she was running for DA. She has endorsed his return as governor of Virginia. Both were given huge donations by George Soros, with McAuliffe receiving a quarter of a million from Soros.
By comparison, he sold out cheap.
According to The Daily Wire, Biberaj appeared in court to personally prosecute Smith, despite knowing the details of the case involving his daughter. Smith’s attorney Elizabeth Lancaster told the outlet that she’s known Biberaj for “years” and was shocked when the charges against Smith weren’t dropped.
“The idea that they would actually be seeking jail time, I’d guess in my 15 years the number of times I’ve seen that happen would be zero,” Lancaster said. “The idea that this is a person who we need to put in a cage was astounding to me given the social justice reform she was pushing. I was blown away.”
The Daily Wire’s article appears to suggest Biberaj motives for prosecuting the case are political, claiming she is “known for leniency and alternatives to incarceration” in other cases. She came under fire earlier this month for dismissing of hundreds of domestic violence cases after an accused wife-beater out on bond allegedly murdered his wife with a hammer. An advocacy group called Virginians for Safe Communities is leading a recall effort against Biberaj because of that case, the Washington Free Beacon reported.
