Rep Darrell Issa has been trying to help a pregnant woman whom he refers to as Nasria after she was abandoned by Joe Biden and the State Department. Nasria had gone to Afghanistan to visit relatives and to marry her now-husband was unable to board the plane bringing her home after the Taliban made complete fools out of the current administration and took control of the entire country.
Nasria was able to make it to the airport in Kabul and was fifteen feet from freedom when she was stopped by the Taliban, despite holding up her American passport. One of the Taliban kicked her in the stomach and refused to let her pass and the American troops were forbidden from helping anyone stopped by the terrorists. She has been forced into hiding, depending on friends to bring her food and to hide her identity.
On Friday, Nasria broke her silence in a message relayed by Rep Issa. It is a heartbreaking message from a woman who was betrayed by her own country and the socialists that currently run the place. She had made numerous trips trying to get to the airport before Biden surrendered to the Taliban and pulled out of Afghanistan.
Not satisfied with merely negotiating with terrorists, Biden had agreed to let the Taliban set the terms of our departure, stranding hundreds, if not thousands of Americans.
In an exclusive interview with Voice of America, Nasria told of her harrowing experience and her desperate attempts to get to the airport before Biden abandoned her.
“It was so hard to just get on a flight. There was (sic) a couple days where we had to sleep on streets. People were literally stepping over people. That’s how bad it was.”
“There’s been days, you know, where I think to myself, ‘Am I going to make it home? Am I going to end up living here? Am I going to end up dying here?”

“Our troops were literally at the gate just waiting for us to continue walking and they had blocked us,” she said. “There was a time that like, I went past them and started walking as fast as I can, and they started shooting right by my leg and told me to come back.”
Nasria explained the State Department has once again promised they will rescue her, but she doubts they will follow through on that promise.
“If I was only 15 steps away from the airport, and I was told people are going to come out of the airport to get me— so what hope am I supposed to have now?” Nasria said.
