Rep. Lauren Boebert Vows to Hold Twitter Accountable for Banning Marjorie Taylor Greene

Rep Lauren Boebert has come out in defense of fellow Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has been permanently banned by Twitter. Rep. Boebert vowed that there will be “accountability” after Republicans win the midterms.

Boebert said:

“Twitter permanently suspended a sitting US President. They’ve now permanently suspended a sitting member of US Congress. Of course, both are from the same party. They forget that in 2022 we are taking back the House and we WILL be holding them accountable!”

Greene had her personal Twitter account permanently banned for posting information that came from Joe Brandon’s Center for Disease Control. (CDC) So, let me get this straight. Does Twitter claim that neither Joe Brandon nor his CDC is credible? Okay, I can buy that, but then, why then do they not permanently ban the CDC?

MTG was suspended for using a CDC VAERS chart.

So is Twitter now telling us the CDC isn’t credible?

The platform claimed it was Greene’s fifth “strike” for spreading “COVID-19 misinformation.”

Greene responded on GETTR and Telegram writing:

“I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies.”

“When Maxine Waters can go to the streets and threaten violence on Twitter, Kamala and Ilhan can bail out rioters on Twitter, and Chief spokesman for terrorist IRGC can tweet mourning Soleimani but I get suspended for tweeting VAERS statistics, Twitter is an enemy to America and can’t handle the truth. That’s fine, I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies.”

Twitter announced the ban:

“We permanently suspended the account you referenced (@mtgreenee) for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy. We’ve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy.”​

“They can’t successfully complete a Communist revolution when people tell the truth,” she said, adding that “Communist Democrats can’t stop the truth.”

“I stand with the truth and the people. We will overcome!” she declared.

Twitter has taken similar actions against politicians and even news sites over content that the social media giant deems to violate its policies.

Twitter also blocked The Post from tweeting its bombshell report in October 2020 about Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings, information that came from the laptop of President Biden’s son. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey eventually backed down two weeks later and unlocked the account, leading The Post to declare “Free Bird!”
