A Massachusetts woman stole a truck and went on a rampage in which she hit other vehicles and drug a cop 20 feet. She was able to elude the police but she was captured when she decided to go through a McDonald’s drive-through for food.
She has got to be dumber than a rock.
How often do you see a rock going into a drive-through?
Johanna Gardell stole a truck in Worcester, Massachusetts, and then rammed multiple vehicles and drug a cop 20 feet to avoid arrest and it worked right up to the moment the police arrested her as she waited in line for food.
The police arrested her on the spot, not waiting for her food order and they took her in for booking. She was foiled by a Big Mac Attack or she was lured there for the world’s best french fries.
Here’s more from the WHDH-TV report:
Gardell allegedly weaved her way into oncoming traffic on Main Street where she struck a van. Two detail officers then approached the stolen truck to try and pull her out but officers say Gardell backed the truck up at a high speed and struck a cruiser behind her. In the process, she knocked down one of the detail officers and briefly dragged them.
… Gardell was later taken into custody when she pulled into the drive-thru lane at a McDonald’s on Shrewsbury Street to order food. Officers approached her there in an attempt to arrest her when they say she intentionally struck one of the cruisers, went off the road, and got the vehicle stuck in some nearby mulch.
The truck was equipped with GPS and there were many curious stops in bad parts of town made. The owner of the truck, Raymond James told WBZ-TV that police allowed him to look inside the truck.
James said:
“Police let me look inside. There [were] drugs in there, there [were] needles in there and some blood in her seat. It seems like she was, we followed her on the GPS, it seems like she was stopping in bad parts of town.”
The police officer who was drug was taken to the hospital and he is going to be fine.
