This past week it was discovered in New Mexico that its Dominion Voting machines have the capability to fill out ballots, meaning that someone operating the machines could conceivably manufacture additional votes right on the spot. We then learned that in 2019 New York’s machines could do the same thing. It is an optional program offered by Dominion. Machines with that capability can also be found in Philadelphia and Michigan as well.
This option is explained in the Dominion Voting Systems manual on page 30:
4. Alternatively, if allowed by your jurisdiction, use the Automated Test Deck application. This application, available from Dominion Voting, can automatically generate the appropriate test decks and expected results totals.
Georgia purchased the “Automated Test Desk” option according to its procurement document reported at its website. See the following procurement document – see page 59:
Automated Test Deck Creation – The creation of automated, comprehensive test decks is an optional service provided by Dominion to assist customers in conducting Logic & Accuracy testing. Using the Election Day database, a series of pre-marked ballots are generated based on a computer algorithm designed to provide the highest assurance of system accuracy. When scanned these decks create known outcomes that can be compared with tabulated results. The elimination of error due to mistakes in hand-marking provides a higher degree of
confidence in test results.”
Why would anyone buy these machines with that option is anyone’s guess, but I think that none of these machines should be in use unless the option can be deleted? I think your first guess is probably right. But, what are the odds that the Biden Federal Election Commission will step in and remove these machines? If I was a betting man, I would bet on 0% unless there is something lower. A Democrat, perhaps?
And remember, many other states probably have machines with these options that we just haven’t found out about yet. And many we may never know about, since they may be using the machines to cheat, they won’t want them to be examined. Once the Republicans are in control of the government again, these types of election reforms must be pushed through the first thing.
