If any of you have been reading my recent columns and the numbers say that neither of you has, you know I have been predicting that Joe Biden would pardon Hunter. I have had several people tell me that would be impossible and that Poppa Joe could not afford to do such a thing. But, Biden will never be the candidate again and even if he loses both Houses of Congress he won’t be impeached, Democrats would never allow it.
They might do it if it weren’t for Kamala Harris, but she has been impeachment and the 25th Amendment insurance for Joe Biden. Not even the Republicans would a sure bet for impeachment with her waiting in the wings. And Joe can’t afford to have Hunter’s case go to trial and implicate himself. He would have to pardon Hunter.
White House communications director Kate Bedingfield was asked if Joe would pardon Hunter. Bedingfield answered:
“That’s not a hypothetical I’m going to entertain. I don’t have anything to add from this podium.”
When someone refuses to answer a question like that the answer is almost always yes. But, they can’t afford to say it. It is just bad optics. She was asked several questions on the subject of Hunter Biden and prosecutions and she refused to answer all of them. The mainstream press is finally writing about the story and CNN says it is picking up steam and more witnesses have been called to testify.

The Washington Post confirmed reports from other media outlets that Biden was paid nearly $5 million by the CEFC China Energy conglomerate — even though Joe Biden denied during the campaign that his son made any money in China.
“My son has not made money in terms of this thing about, what are you talking about, China,” Biden said during the third presidential debate moderated by NBC’s Kristen Welker.
Bedingfield said the White House stood by Biden’s claim, despite reporting proving it false.
“We absolutely stand by the president’s comment,” Bedingfield told Welker when asked for an update on Biden’s debate claim.
GOP Seanators Johnson and Grassley provided proof that Hunter received $100,000 from a company aligned with the Chinese government, not included in the CEFC payments.
