This White House is famous for telling lies because if they told the truth, Biden’s favorable rating would be somewhere in the 20s range. But, sometimes their lies and half-truths are so egregious that even their media lapdogs snap at them. And we are talking major liberal assets here with CNN and the WaPo leading the way.
The White House said:
“When President Biden took office, millions were unemployed and there was no vaccine available. In the last 15 months, the economy has created 8.3M jobs and the unemployment rate stands at 3.6% — the fastest decline in unemployment to start a President’s term ever recorded.”
There was no vaccine available? Then how did Biden get his first two shots before he began his occupation of the Oval Office? Biden got his first shot on December 21, 2020. His second shot was received on Jan 13, 2021, one week before he took office. This did not go unnoticed.
Biden said after his first shot:
“Today, I received the COVID-19 vaccine. To the scientists and researchers who worked tirelessly to make this possible — thank you. We owe you an awful lot. And to the American people — know there is nothing to worry about. When the vaccine is available, I urge you to take it.”
President-elect Biden received his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine because he trusts scientists.

Before Biden became president, there were 19 million people who had at least their first shot and 3.5 million Americans who were fully vaccinated. And let us not forget, it was Trump’s Warp Speed that got the vaccine created in record time. Trump did not send people out to lie for him, he took action as he always did as president.
The Washington Post’s resident fact-checker Glenn Kessler stated:
“Who’s manning the @WhiteHouse Twitter account? Delete this false tweet. Biden himself has said 8% of seniors had gotten the vaccine on the day he took office. Biden was one of them.”
CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale wrote:
“‘There was no vaccine available’ is very clearly false. More than 3 million Americans were fully vaccinated and more than 18 million had at least one dose by Biden’s Inauguration Day. Biden himself was fully vaccinated. Obviously became more widely available with time, but no doubt, and they’re free to tweet ‘the vaccine wasn’t available to much of the public’ or whatever. ‘There was no vaccine available,’ the end, goes way too far given that there were nearly 19 million people with shots, wrongly suggesting the whole rollout began under Biden.”
I would also like to take issue with the claim that Biden created so many new jobs. The truth is they were just people going back to work after draconian lockdowns. In fact, the reason why unemployment is so low is that so many people have left the workforce.
Here is a chart of the people in the workforce under Trump and Biden.
You will notice that before the pandemic, the workforce rate was 63.5. It then dropped to 60.2. It recovered to 61.2. When he left office the rate was 61.7. Under Biden, the rate is 62.2. Therefore, under Biden, the rate climbed by .5%. Not very impressive and it certainly does not point to Biden creating 8.3 million jobs. If he had the participation rate would have soared. But, it didn’t.
